Design Principles
- All models run simultaneously on every scan — no user action required to generate comparison data.
- Gemini Deep is gated at Classic score ≥ 60 for cost control without losing coverage on promising jobs.
- Scores are 0–100 normalized across all profiles for direct comparison.
- No demographic data is collected or used in any scoring model.
- Readability is advisory only, never a scoring factor (per bias research: "Invisible Filters," arXiv 2508.16673).
Behavioral Grounding
- Minimum sample sizes enforced before surfacing employer-specific insights (5 for hints, 15 for recommendations).
- All insights framed as correlation, never causation.
- Recency-weighted: last 6 months weighted 2× vs older data.
- Employer patterns expire after 12 months of no new data.

Data We Collect
- Account data: Google OAuth email and display name (via Firebase Authentication)
- Resume data: Uploaded resume files and extracted keywords, stored in Google Cloud Storage and Firestore

- Profile preferences: Target salary, location, transport mode, scoring model preferences
How We Use Your Data
- Match your resume keywords against job descriptions to generate relevance scores
- Personalize job recommendations and salary estimates
- Tailor resumes and generate cover letters using Gemini AI (your data is sent to Google's Gemini API)
Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored in Google Cloud (Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Run) in the
us-east1region - Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest (Google Cloud default encryption)
- Authentication is handled by Firebase Auth — we never see or store your Google password
- Firestore security rules restrict data access to authenticated owners only
Data Sharing
- We do not sell your data to recruiters, employers, or third parties
- Resume text is sent to Google Gemini API for keyword extraction and scoring — subject to Google's Gemini API Terms
- No data is shared with job portals — we only read publicly available job listings
Your Rights
- Access: View all your stored data through the platform
- Deletion: Delete your resumes, applications, and profile data at any time
- Portability: Export your data via the platform's export features
