These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the RingSail website and platform at ringsail.com (“Service”) operated by RingSail (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Service

RingSail provides an AI-powered job search and career management platform. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial job searching and career management purposes. You may not use the Service to scrape, harvest, or republish job data; to submit false information; or for any unlawful purpose.

2. Account

You must sign in with a valid Google account to access personalized features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of resume files and other content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process and analyze that content to provide the Service (including AI scoring and keyword extraction). We do not claim ownership of your resume or personal documents.

4. Intellectual Property

The RingSail platform, design, code, career guides, and salary data are the property of RingSail and are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

5. Salary and Job Data

Salary ranges and job market data provided on our site are estimates based on publicly available information and proprietary aggregation. They are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute a guarantee of compensation. We update salary data periodically but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy.

6. Third-Party Links

The Service contains links to third-party job postings and employer sites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party sites. Applying to jobs through external links is governed by those employers’ own policies.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that job listings are accurate, current, or complete. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RingSail shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of employment opportunities or salary negotiations based on our data.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will post updates on this page with a revised effective date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
